This season, British outerwear brand Craghoppers draws inspiration from the filmic style of hyperrealism and superimposition. Taking notes from features like Nicolas Roeg’s The Man Who Fell to Earth and much of Stanley Kubrick’s work throughout the 1970s, the label delivers a collection entitled “Dusk Arrival” which oozes depth and pays close attention to detail.
Showcased with a lookbook that uses lightning techniques to throw shards of light through trees to highlight each piece, Fall/Winter 2021 is a unisex capsule that boasts innovations like GORE-TEX, Aquadry and Dynamic Range, on a selection of reworked archival classics.
The Cromarty Jacket is arguably the highlight of the collection with its high-loft ThermoPro synthetic fill and water repellent coating, while a selection of striking fleeces and jackets arrive as a nod to 80s outdoor styles.
