Bronny James Files To Trademark Name, Supposedly Looking Into NFTs, Video Games and Apparel

LeBron James Jr., the 17-year-old son of LeBron James, has reportedly filed to trademark his name.

According to sources, Bronny filed three trademarks for the names “BJ JR,” “BRONNY” and “BRONALD” and is looking to create for the world of NFTs, video games and apparel. The filings are currently awaiting approval from the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Bronny is currently still playing for Sierra Canyon School in Los Angeles and is an official member of the famed FazE Clan collective. In early 2021, his father publicly expressed his hoop dreams for him and Bronny, “I want him to be in the NBA.” LeBron James Sr. added, “I am not going to lie. I want to be on the court with him. I think that will be an unbelievable moment. He’s about to be a junior so the years, it could get close, but we should see, but I want him to get to the NBA.”

Elsewhere in sports, Washington has unveiled its new “Commanders” name.
