Back in March, Nike announced a Kobe Bryant partnership with Vanessa Bryant to benefit the Mamba and Mambacita Sports Foundation. The newly launched partnership has already seen the release of the Kobe 6 Protro “Mambacita Sweet 16,” in loving memory of Bryant and his daughter Gianna (Gigi). But now Nike and Vanessa Bryant are reportedly gearing up to bring back yet another iconic Kobe signature shoe model.

According to new rumors, the beloved Kobe 8 Protro basketball model is now set for a potential re-release. The return of the shoe launched back in 2012 is now expected for sometime during the Fall 2023 season. Standout Nike Kobe 8 colorways released include the “What the Kobe,” “Prelude,” “Venice Beach,” “Milk Snake,” and “Christmas.”

Stay tuned for more information regarding the potential return of the Nike Kobe 8.
