Natsuko Shoji of été and VERDY Deliver a Arita Porcelain Heart-Shaped Box
Coming together once again.

Building on their collaborative relationship, Natsuko Shoji of world-renowned Tokyo restaurant été and VERDY have come together for a new collaboration. Dubbed “A Bridge to The Next Generation,” the release focussed on Arita-yaki porcelain. The traditional craft has over 400 years of history and is a specialty of Saga Prefecture in Kyūshū.
Inspired by their previous chocolate box collaborations, the Arita porcelain box features a bitten heart shape and expresses a bright green glaze. The boxes are also marked with “Fleurs d’été” on the face and “Made With Love” on the interior in contrasting gold. Each collaborative release is hand-finished by craftsmen for an artisanal quality.
Additionally, part of the proceeds generated from the team-up will be donated to the Traditional Crafts Industry Promotion Association, supporting the activities of young craftsmen set to continue to develop traditional Japanese crafts in the future.
Priced at ¥15,000 JPY (approximately $110 USD), the Natsuko Shoji x VERDY Arita porcelain “A Bridge to The Next Generation” box is available now on the Omakase website.
