First spotted on the French fashion house’s Fall/Winter 2022 runway, Louis Vuitton has officially released its LV Skate sneaker.

The new footwear silhouette, which calls on signature ’90s design codes with a bulkier build and statement colorways, nods to the House’s classic motifs with Monogram Flower detailing and bicolor uppers. In terms of construction, the shoe enlists technical mesh, calf leather and suede — together, the contrasting textiles appear intricately entangled, with a standout padded collar, double laces and a rubber outsole finished with miniature logo inclusions.

The LV Skate sneaker is available in four colors: black, red, marine and beige. The new model marks the latest addition to the Louis Vuitton Skate Sneaker Collection, which also houses the premium-leather, high-top “High 8” sneakers, among others. Notably, this latest entry arrived as part of the late creative director Virgil Abloh‘s final men’s collection for the Maison.

Limited quantities of the LV Skate sneaker are now available in the United States and Canada for 48 hours only on the brand’s website. Once the online window closes, the label’s latest footwear offering will hit select stores on December 8. Take a look at Louis Vuitton’s Skate sneakers in the gallery above.
