Early Look at the Air Jordan 3 "Reimagined"
Jordan Brand’s 2023 is already looking bright.
In the early half of 2023, Jordan Brand‘s retro lineup is expected to push out a flurry of captivating colorways, one being the Air Jordan 3 “Reimagined” which has just surfaced by way of early imagery. The classic colorway is a modernized variation of one of Michael Jordan’s most cherished classics that was introduced in 1988: the Air Jordan 3 “White Cement.”
The idea with this forthcoming pair is to recreate the visual presentation of its muse, but in a way that is slightly aged. It’s essentially created with the same nostalgic intention as the Air Jordan 1 “Lost & Found” only it’s bereft of any cracked leathers and weathered paint jobs. Premium tumbled leathers are styled in white and complemented with elephant print overlays along the heels and toe tips, the latter of which appears to be fitted with thinner lines to stay as true as possible to the original. Peek at the heel counters and the midsoles and you’ll notice that they’ve been dyed with a “Sail” hue to channel a vintage-y look, the former being adorned with Nike Air branding that sneakerheads tend to favor over Jumpman insignias. OG orange Nike hangtags, Bulls-inspired liners and tongue branding and black heel molds round off its retro fit.
Early reports have these slated to drop on March 11 for $210 USD, but this has yet to be confirmed by Nike.
Elsewhere in sneaker news, an Air Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT 2 “Year of the Rabbit” colorway has been unveiled.
