Champion and Beastie Boys Unite in Celebration of 'Check Your Head's' 30th Anniversary
Serving as a tribute to the album’s iconic visuals.
Following its limited drop in collaboration with Australian label PELVIS, Champion is coming together with the iconic rap group Beastie Boys to honor the 30th anniversary of its third studio album, Check Your Head.
The 20-track album catapulted the three-member group — composed of Michael “Mike D” Diamond, Adam “MCA” Yauch, and Adam “Ad-Rock” Horovitz — into the spotlight, earning multi-platinum status grounded in a punk sound. In addition, the record received global appraisal due to its innovative outlook, presenting the Beastie Boys in a versatile light.
In celebration, the duo has crafted a 17-piece capsule collection blasted with a variety of Beastie Boys insignia. Firstly, Champion’s classic Reverse Weave Sweatshirts are adorned with the group’s name in album-specific lettering, while the back boasts festive Check Your Head details. Furthermore, T-shirts arrive in black, white, and grey tones fashioned with ’90s band member photographs, serving as a tribute to the highly-praised trio.
