Debuting at the beginning of 2022, Jordan Brand brought yet another twist to its founding sneaker, the Air Jordan 1. Named the “Inside Out” series, the Air Jordan 1 Low and Mid have been outfitted in various deconstructed looks under the theme. Previously, color inclusions have ranged from white to dark gray and navy. Now, earth tones make an appearance on the low-top silhouette.

While the shoe maintains its typical shape, its detailing is more intricate than traditional colorways. Starting at the toe’s upper, a gentle brown mudguard arrives in a smooth suede. At the toe box, its fabric panel is flipped inside out of its standard position in a light canvas shade. Towards the midfoot, suedes feature rougher finishes, toggling between several brown hues throughout. Orange Swooshes match the padded foam tongue and carry five embroidered stitches at the lateral. Lastly, a ballistic mesh heel counter utilizes the aforementioned orange with its embroidered Wings logo to complete the upper. Below, a “Sail” stitched midsole and dark brown rubber outsole put on the finishing touches.

Release details for this iteration of the Air Jordan 1 Low “Inside Out” series has not yet been disclosed. Look for it to land on shelves next year via Nike and select retailers at a price of $120 USD.

For more in the world of footwear, the Air Jordan 1 High is making its return next year, arriving in a “Washed Black” colorway.
