A Look Inside Supreme's New Chicago Store
A celebratory store opening bogo tee has been confirmed.
Other than taking notice that Supreme is one of the most impactful brands in the world, part of the reason that VF Corporation expressed interest in acquiring the popular streetwear brand is so that it can help grow its real estate portfolio. And that expansive ambition is being actualized as the NY-based label is now set to open up its newest brick-and-mortar in Chicago. After plastering wheatpasted posters around the city to generate excitement over the launch, Supreme has now finally released photos of the store’s presentation inside and out.
The exterior side of the space features brick walls that are dyed in a bright white hue, allowing its iconic box logo to stand out. As soon as you set foot inside, customers are greeted with an oversized, gilded sphinx installation that references its collaboration with Mark Gonzales. The sides of the space act as hosts for the outerwear racks as well as the shelves which are stocked with tees, hats and sneakers. One side backdrop features a black and white mural while the other is fashioned with exposed brick and a Supreme spell-out that’s written in Old English font.
The release of these images also confirms its celebratory store-opening box logo tee. If you peek closely at the second slide in the gallery above, you’ll notice that the shelf on the left is stocked with a freshly-printed silver graphic on the front plus the retail location’s address and a banner that reads “second to none” on the back.
Supreme Chicago is located at 1438 N. Milwaukee Ave and is set to open its doors on Thursday, November 10.
