Nike Pays Tribute to Florida Football with the Air Huarache “Miami Hurricanes”
Enriched by the coastal team’s vibrant tones.
Nike tends to pay homage to American universities by covering its sports teams with Swoosh models in squad-ready hues. To close off the year, Nike looks to the University of Miami for an Air Huarache prepared to hit the field.
The Miami Hurricanes’ iconic tones are seen throughout the 31-year-old sneaker, starting with a black neoprene base that sets the scene. White leather panels add brightness, hitting the mudguards and medials with a smooth finish. Silky green accents hit the tongues, lower laces, and heel counters, while vibrant “Stadium Orange” lands on the standard plastic cages that boast Nike branding at the tales.
Circular rubber emblems adorn the tongues with green branding, while wavy midsoles that see embossed patterns sit atop black bottoms.
