MASU Meets The Rolling Stones in Its Latest “Lips and Tongue” Capsule
Modeled by Jun Takahashi’s daughter, Lala Takahashi.
Japanese label MASU teams up with The Rolling Stones to launch a vibrant yet cheeky capsule collection. Aptly titled “Lips and Tongue,” the collab highlights the Popcorn Raglan L/S T-Shirt and Popcorn Bag, emblazoned with the famed rock band’s signature motif. The collection is modeled by fresh-faced Lala Takahashi – daughter of designer Jun Takahashi – who represents a generation that grew up under the cultural influences of both the ‘90s and ‘00s eras.
Priced at ¥39,600 JPY (approximately $286 USD), the Popcorn Raglan L/S T-Shirt marries the popular ‘90s silhouette with a popcorn-textured fabrication. The center front of the top features a large Rolling Stones logo, which is now updated with the U.S.A flag design on the tongue. Also made with a popcorn-textured material, the Popcorn Bag is decked with an allover print starring the classic Rolling Stones motif against a black base. The Popcorn Bag is retailed for ¥22,600 JPY (approximately $159 USD).
The “Lips and Tongue” capsule will be available from November 26 via MASU’s official retailers.
