LaMelo Ball and PUMA Hoops' MB.02 Arrives in "Phenom"

While the Charlotte Hornets’ young star LaMelo Ball has been plagued with ankle problems to start the 2022-23 NBA season, his collaborations with PUMA continue on strong. Ball and PUMA Hoops recently saw the introduction of the guard’s second signature sneaker with the brand, the MB.02. Expanding on the success of the MB.01, the new silhouette carries familiar touches from Ball while featuring an updated design that is court-ready. Spotted previously on court during Ball’s limited playing time this season, the MB.02 “Phenom” has been prepped for launch.
Appearing in a blue and black colorway catered to the Hornets, this “Phenom” look sees the return of Ball’s signature branding in an electric new colorway. Highlighting the MB.02’s wings at the midsole and upper, a primarily black presentation features blue at the sole unit and several collaborative design elements. Its upper utilizes a woven mesh material composition while the sole carries NITRO foam throughout. Wings again arrive at the upper, midsole, tongue branding and at the outsole’s tread to complete the look.
Landing at a $130 USD retail price, LaMelo Ball’s PUMA MB.02 “Phenom” is scheduled to hit shelves November 23 via PUMA and select PUMA Hoops retailers.
