ENGINEERED GARMENTS and Reebok Present a LX2200 Sneaker Capsule
The three-pronged assemblage features “Black,” “Beige” and “White” colorways.
ENGINEERED GARMENTS and Reebok have banded together to piece together a three-piece sneaker collection that involves the LX2200. This is the latest collaboration that the New York-based fashion label has added to its catalog after partnering up with imprints such as Vault by Vans, Palace, KEEN, Dr. Martens and more this year.
For this initiative, ENGINEERED GARMENTS pushes earthy color palettes and a playful blend of materials to the forefront. “To design this shoe, we utilized basic earth colors and applied our traditional brand aesthetic through material mixtures and an asymmetrical color scheme,” said Daiki Suzuki, founder of Engineered Garments. A trio of colorways are involved in this collection: “Black,” “Beige” and “White.” Each pair represents the colors and outdoor-inspired ethos that are signature to the EG brand, and this is communicated through a patchwork myriad of hemp, smooth leather and buttery suede fabrics that make up its upper build. In terms of branding, “Reebok” hits are integrated into the side windows while “EG2200” embellishments rest on the lateral heels.
Check out a closer look at the full range in the gallery above and expect these to release on December 8 via ENGINEERED GARMENTS and on December 10 through Reebok and select global retailers.
For other news, Mountain Research also just unveiled a Reebok LX2200 collaboration.
