Jimmy Choo and Timberland evoke the vibrant, energetic spirit of New York city with a new boot collection. This exclusive capsule collection is a continuation of the outdoor brand and global luxury house’s partnership, which began in 2020 with crystallized iterations of the tried and true Timberland work boot.

Now, the two have joined forces once again to infuse Timberland’s iconic Original Yellow Boot™ — synonymous with New York and the distinct hip-hop aesthetic that developed in the city during the ‘90s — with Jimmy Choo’s signature brand of daring glamour. This time, the brands have also brought a new dimension to the collaboration, tapping the talents of Harlem’s Fashion Row — an NYC-based agency that champions Black and Latinx creatives — specifically Bronx-born artist and designer Shanel Campbell.

Campbell is a trailblazer in the realm of fashion who aims to explore and provide visibility for the Black Experience in America. Her valuable insight and keen eye for eccentricity mixed with Jimmy Choo’s high-octane aesthetic make for a capsule that is representative of New York’s energetic identity. Sandra Choi, Jimmy Choo’s creative director and an early pioneer of brand collaborations, spoke on her experience of bringing different creative viewpoints together:

“I love to mix it up by getting together with interesting creative minds and combining our DNA to create beautiful and surprising pieces. This collaboration celebrates urban glamour and the resilience and eclecticism of the city’s dynamic community; it is a tribute to the ultimate New York City staple, Timberland boots”.

The collection, which effortlessly blends the respective brands’ grit and glamour, comprises seven styles across both men’s and women’s, utterly reimagining the workwear staple. The range boasts two hot pink velvet boots with transparent soles, two classic nubuck boots accented with a graffiti-inspired Jimmy Choo logo, black Swarovski crystal-encrusted boots, and a knee-high black leather harness boot that can also be adapted and worn as a classic 6-inch style. Finishing out the capsule, Jimmy Choo and Timberland created one more statement silhouette — a heeled version of the beloved work boot which is covered from top to toe in sparkling Swarovski crystals.

To celebrate the Timberland legacy while also nodding to the city that continually shapes pop culture, the Jimmy Choo x Timberland collection campaign features homegrown musical creatives Justine Skye and Pi’erre Bourne, photographed on a New York rooftop; perfectly representing their domain over the city.

The Jimmy Choo x Timberland collaboration launches globally on November 30 at storefront locations and select premium retailers around the world. The heeled 6-inch boot will be available in limited quantities at Jimmy Choo.
