Citizen Drops Solar-Powered Marvel Black Panther Watch Ahead of Sequel Premiere
A watch fit for a king.
Ahead of the release of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever on Friday, Citizen has released its own timepiece tribute to the Vibranium-clad superhero.
Joining the watch brand’s Marvel Classics Avengers Collection, the watch bears an embossed representation of Black Panther’s battle mask on its dial, surrounded by Wakanda-inspired motifs in blue and purple.
The Citizen Marvel Black Panther is formed of Citizen’s silver-tone Super Titanium alloy with a stamped grey resin bezel ring, date window at the three o’clock position, a recessed crown at the four o’clock, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass and a stainless steel integrated bracelet secured with a folding clasp.
The war cry of Black Panther’s homeland “Wakanda Forever” is engraved on the caseback, while the watch is powered by natural and artificial light thanks to Citizen’s Eco-Drive technology.
The Marvel Black Panther watch drops soon via Citizen, priced £399 GBP (approximately $457 USD).
