Reigning Champ by Jide Osifeso Returns for Its Fourth Season

For its latest offering, Reigning Champ is continuing its collaborative relationship with the designer, Jide Osifeso. Marking the partnership’s fourth collection, the new pieces expand the conversation around minimalist yet contemporary ensembles.
Consisting of 11 pieces, “Season Four” sets forth a range of field jackets, sweatsuits, hoodies, crewneck shirts and more. While staying true to Reigning Champ’s athletic-focused cadence, the new collection modernizes everyday uniforms through eye-catching graphic prints and military-inspired styles. “We stayed home and relied on staples from RC’s fleece and jersey heritage,” said Osifeso.
The entirely unisex collection updates everyday pieces with multi-paneled constructions, custom-dyed fabrics, recycled ripstop fabric and hybrid garment styles. The S04 Ripstop Field Jacket in moss serves as a collection highlight with multi-pocket detailing, a dual-toned body and arm pocket details. Another standout is the collection’s use of both nylon/terry and mesh/jersey fabric fusions across select garments.
Bringing the collection to life is a surrealist campaign film by photographer Alex Nazari and director Glenn Michael that centers on sculptural garment layering.
