Nike is delivering a new set of Florida A&M University (FAMU) collaborative special edition sneakers as a part of their multi-year partnership. The brand and the school inked a deal back in March 2021 that included developing apparel for FAMU athletes such as footwear and uniforms.

Now the Florida A&M x Nike Dunk Low officially arrives in the school’s white, orange and green colors. The shoe is dressed in a white leather base, featuring vibrant orange overlays and laces. The Swoosh is highlighted in green as well as the saying “WE BRAGG DIFFERENT” embroidered on the heels. One of the most notable details is the school Rattler mascot, the rattlesnake, on the tongue, text behind the tongue tags that read the school chant, “STRIKE, STRIKE, AND STRIKE AGAIN!,” the founding year 1887 on the heel tabs and “FAMU” on the dubraes. “COLAC” which stands for College of Love and Charity, is also embroidered on the lateral forefoot. The shoe sits atop a translucent outsole that shows off the reptilian graphic on the underfoot to round out the design.

The special edition Nike Dunk Low “FAMU” arrives on Octobe 18 in select retailers and on Nike for $120 USD.

In other footwear news, the Jordan Luka 1 “Bred” has an official October release date and in other Nike news, the Dunk Low has surfaced in mint green.
