Maharishi Teases a Reebok LT Court Collaboration
The London-based streetwear label reworks the lifestyle model with hemp uppers.
One formula that has proven to be successful for the Reebok design team is bringing in partners that will bring their own minimal-yet-tasteful touch to its classic silhouettes. We’ve seen this occur with JJJJound and its various collaborations as well as Maison Margiela and Tyrrell Winston, and now Maharishi is getting its opportunity to shine. The London-based streetwear label has been tapped to rework the Reebok LT Court in its own militaristic way.
There’s only a single teaser image that has surfaced thus far, but this preview already gives viewers a grasp of what the sneakers will look like. Instead of the traditional leather constructions utilized on the LT Court, Maharishi has equipped the uppers with a lighter beige hemp material. From there, subtle accents of a drab olive hue that’s reflective of the brand’s pacifist military design gets spilled onto the forefoot molds, tongue banners, interior liners and outsoles. Notes of white are present via the laces and tongues while Maharishi letting replaces the Reebok branding on the quarters.
In case you wanted to pick up a pair, you can expect these to launch via Maharishi on October 28 Reebok come November 4.
