Rimowa Works With Lebron James to Develop 12-Bottle Wine Case
Featuring TSA-approved locks.

Beyond his legacy of being one the greatest NBA players of all time, Lebron James is also well known for being an avid wine connoisseur, revealing earlier this year that he drinks either wine or tequila just about every night. Having worked with RIMOWA in the past, James was inspired by an archive model from the luxury luggage specialist which held both wine bottles and stemware. This prompted the idea of a multi-bottle carrier case. Following a conversation with the RIMOWA team, production for the Twelve Bottle Case was underway.
The finished case is finished in RIMOWA’s signature anodized grooved aluminum with glossy finishes and a black leather handle. Inside, cutouts and custom-crafted cushions allow the case to store a variety of bottle types ranging from red wines to champagne. Interiors are further lined in microfiber materials and TSA-approved locks allow for peace of mind during air travel.
The RIMOWA Twelve Bottle Wine Case retails for $9,900 USD and will be available in the coming months. A special collection of wines have been selected by Wine Access in celebration of the release. More details can be found here.
