Ye to Show YEEZY SEASON 9 at Paris Fashion Week
Reported to have only 50 attendees.
If you’ve been keeping a close eye on Paris Fashion Week, you might have seen that Ye just walked in Balenciaga’s Summer 2022 collection, “The Mud Show.” But, keener ears may have heard the murmurs of a YEEZY show, and it has been confirmed: YEEZY SEASON 9 arrives tomorrow in Paris.
Debuting on Monday afternoon, it is said that as few as 50 attendees will be invited to Paris’ 8th arrondissement, and that the show has been made alongside people like Shayne Oliver of Hood by Air fame.
Ye cut his teeth in the fashion world with the likes of Virgil Abloh, interning at Fendi and becoming a close friend of many designers. From there, his stylistic journey has been well documented through his own clothing line, YEEZY, as well as with collaborations at adidas, with GAP, and with Balenciaga.
Previous shows have seen Ye take to Paris for YEEZY SEASON 8 (the one when North West performed), while SEASON 1 started in New York.
