Off-White™ has re-released the Virgil Abloh and Jenny Holzer T-shirt, with the intention of raising funds for Planned Parenthood, a non-profit organization that offers reproductive health care in the United States and across the world.
The short-sleeve, white T-shirt reinvents Holzer’s revered 1986 work Abuse of Power Comes as No Surprise, replacing the word “power” with “flower” in a blurry black font. The back of the crewneck-collared shirt boasts Planned Parenthood’s mission statement on the upper back, just above dual branding stamps.
“Virgil always left the door open for others to follow behind him and he taught us to look out for one other,” the brand wrote in a statement. “In honor of our founder and his values, we celebrate freedom, being human and the fundamental right to choose. We believe in the power of individuality and the freedom to determine the course of their life and future.”
100% of the proceeds from the T-shirt will be donated to Planned Parenthood. The impactful design is now available to shop on the Off-White™ website and in the brand’s Paris store for $205 USD.
