First Look at the JJJJound x New Balance 991
Rumored for a December drop.

JJJJound and New Balance have already cranked out two collaborations in 2022 — olive and brown takes on the 990v3 — and now they’re looking for a three-peat before the year’s out with a fresh interpretation of the made-in-England 991. Revealed by an eBay listing that was first unearthed by New Balance collector @dane3fune and has since been removed, the co-created style feeds into JJJJound’s signature “refined minimalism” ethos with a minimal color scheme and premium details, all cooked up at New Balance’s famed Flimby factory.
Uppers are dressed in a mixture of browns and tans that’s nearly identical to the JJJJound x New Balance 992 from 2020 and the JJJJound x New Balance 990v3 from 2018, the latter of which was the two companies’ very first co-created effort. Special JJJJound branding is present on the heel, while midsoles are stuffed with ABZORB cushioning tech and offer up a two-tone color scheme of their own. Per the photos, they also come packaged in a custom box.
At the time of writing, there’s no official release or pricing information for the JJJJound x New Balance 991, but early reports state that it’ll be touching down this December.
