Billionaire Boys Club, the influential streetwear imprint founded by Pharrell Williams and NIGO in 2003, is opening a 5,000-square-foot flagship in Miami’s Art District.

Designed by Alex Mustonen and Daniel Arsham’s New York-based installation studio SNARKITECTURE, the state-of-the-art space revamps the standard retail experience by mimicking the interior formula for an art studio. In doing so, the storefront showcases modern artworks and brand-inspired designs among innovative displays stocked with the label’s forward collections, all with the goal of driving social engagement.

“I’m very grateful that we have the opportunity to bring our flagship store to Miami. It’s going to be a place where people can come in to get inspired by the mix of fashion, culture, art and design,” said Pharrell Williams, Founder of BBC ICECREAM, in a statement. “I can’t wait for everyone to see what we’ve created here, it’s really special.”

SNARKITECTURE’s team, which also included Victor Lee and Clarisse Empaynado, utilized materials and finishes inspired by the Everglades National Park. With nature at its fore, green and blue tones largely command the outpost, with designs and installations constructed from recycled plastics, glass and wood panels. Natural light beams through two large windows, transforming the once-dark warehouse into a flexible retail space with an open-concept layout, perimeter-spanning display systems and a central axis cash wrap.

Inside, the store features a central sculpture, created by Arsham, that celebrates Billionaire Boys Club’s classic Astronaut motif. As its located in the heart of the Art District in Wynwood, Miami, the store will serve as a host for special artworks and installations, from both local and global creatives whose work aligns with the neighborhood’s penchant for high-caliber design.

“The choice of Wynwood, Miami for the new storefront is a conscious move to be in the heart of the art community and within a cultural environment that speaks to the brand’s values and inspirations,” said Loic Villepontoux, General Manager of Billionaire Boys Club.

The Miami flagship will host a bevy of exclusive collaborations curated by Sarah Andelman, including Human Made, Comme des Garçons, Bamford, Yellowpop, Baggu, Bunny Shapiro, Krink, Humanrace and more.

“We curated brands thinking of what would be the best to complete BBC and ICECREAM’s existing products and taking in consideration the Miami location and lifestyle,” said Andelman. “We kept in mind what Pharrell would personally like to find in the job and will regularly be refreshing and updating the selection for special events.”

Of course, the store will also sell its mainstay labels, which include Billionaire Boys Club, ICECREAM, Billionaire Girls Club, Bee Line, Human Made, adidas, MEDICOM, Comme des Garçons PLAY and more.

The Billionaire Boys Club Miami flagship store is located on 2545 NW 3rd Avenue. Beginning October 20, the shop will be open from 10 a.m. ET to 6 p.m. ET on Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. ET to 7 p.m. ET on Friday and Saturday, and 12 p.m. ET to 6 p.m. ET on Sundays.
