Speake-Marin Gives Its Ripples a Gold Dial for 20th Anniversary
They’ve also dressed up the micro-rotor.
Speake-Marin is celebrating 20 years with the release of a limited edition Ripples from the Temptation series. This time around, the 40.3mm La City case is contrasted with a yellow-gold dial.
Due to the pipe cutouts of the dial, the hue changes from amber to gold depending on the angle. Like the original Ripples, this is a time-only watch with small seconds in the interesting two o’clock position. This watch also addresses the one gripe I had with the stainless-steel version as the micro-rotor has now been decorated, unlike the first version’s bare mass.
Limited to just 50 pieces, the Anniversary Ripples can be found over at Speake-Marin’s website or seen in person at the WATCHPRO Salon.
