Aside from announcing a new iPad Pro outfitted with an M2 Chip, Apple also introduced a redesigned version of its entry-level iPad. The more affordable model features a non-laminated 10.9-inch display with a 2,360 x 1,640 resolution and True Tone color adjustment. The frame of the iPad expresses the thin bezel look of higher-end models with a USB-C charging port but no headphone jack or fingerprint reader on the sleep/wake button.

Users can also find a 12MP ultra-wide front camera and 12MP rear camera, powered by an A14 Bionic chip that supports WiFi 6 and 5G on the cellular models. Although the redesigned entry-level iPad only supports the First-Generation Apple Pencil, it can be upgraded with a new $249 USD magnetic attachment/Smart Connector Magic Keyboard Folio complete with full-size keys and trackpad.

Starting at $449 USD (64GB WiFi) and $599 USD (64GB Cellular), the redesigned entry-level iPad will be available in four colors at Apple locations and authorized retailers come October 26.

In case you missed it, the pre-order for the first Sony x Honda EV will come in 2025.
