TEMPLA Teases “7th Edition” Limited Edition Olympic Capsule
The Olympic capsule goes live on the Lunar New Year, February 1.
TEMPLA is dropping its “7th Edition” Olympic capsule on the Lunar New Year, inspired by the snowy Alps and crystalized mountain tops.
Australian-based TEMPLA makes outerwear intended for the slopes but approaches its designs with high-fashion, performance-enhancing silhouettes. Meticulously drawing from graphic linework and Neo-impressionism, TEMPLA infuses a sense of upscale emotionality to its Fall/Winter 2021 “7th Edition” capsule.
The garments withstand extreme climates and are worn by professional skiers and skateboarders, but city dwellers will find the elevated silhouettes suitable for cold-weather months as the Fall/Winter 2021 Alpine collection seamlessly merges performance wear with contemporary city style. TEMPLA’s Alpine garments promote a reduced carbon footprint and feature a waterproofing shell membrane made of 100% recycled materials.
TEMPLA has previously collaborated with designer Raf Simons, enlisting A$AP Rocky for its FW19 headwear and alpine-inspired skiwear collection.
Notable pieces from the FW21 collection include the mid-length “OS Bomber,” which features dropped shoulders and a high-ribbed knit collar; the “Naswa Puffer Cropped” featuring an ink-blotched outer shell; and the oversize “Hara Cargo Wadded Pant,” an elevated ski pant constructed of recycled yarn with an adjustable hybrid cuff system for on and off-slope styling. The collection includes white, yellow, and black colorways, with select garments emblazoned with textural, graphic prints.
Take a look at TEMPLA’s “7th Edition” above and watch out for the Olympic capsule drop, which goes live on the Lunar New Year, February 1, on TEMPLA’s home website.
