Daily Paper and FREE THE YOUTH’s New Capsule Is an Ode to Childhood
Marking their second collaboration.

Committed to telling the stories of community and spreading African heritage worldwide, Daily Paper has reunited with Accra-based brand FREE THE YOUTH for its second collaboration.
Paying homage to the blissful wonder of youth, the capsule was inspired by childhood games. Whether it be handmade toys, board games or running around outside, the campaign and capsule collection invokes the spirit of nostalgia and creativity. “This collection is dedicated to the youth who played their favorite games in the street back in the days,” said Daily Paper co-founder and design director, Abderrahmane Trabsini. “Those were the carefree days and only required your imagination to create your own fun and games. From my own memories, this also helped to build social interaction.”
The six-item collection includes a button-down shirt, 2 t-shirts, a trucker hat, a crewneck sweater and a shoulder bag — washed in shades of green, blue and more with custom Daily Paper x FREE THE YOUTH graphic prints.
“This collaboration with the Daily Paper family was a special one, said FREE THE YOUTH founders Maposh Richard Oramano, Jonathan Coffie and Kelly Foli. “It reminded us all of when we were young in the hood, where we group up. This was us, making things by hand out of whatever we could find – cans, scraps etc. – transforming it into something. It all started from an idea and through creativity, youth and joy, we were able to make something out of it.”
Ranging in price from $55 USD to $132 USD, the Daily Paper x FREE THE YOUTH collection is available now on Daily Paper’s website.
