Shake Shack Celebrates Lunar New Year With Dark Meat Peking Chicken Sandwich
Inspired by Pekingese Duck pancakes.
In celebration of the Lunar New Year, Shake Shack Hong Kong has now introduced its limited Dark Meat Peking Chicken sandwich.
The special seasonal item highlights the beloved Peking Duck delicacy, drawing from the iconic elements of Pekingese Duck pancakes. The Dark Meat Peking Chicken sandwich features a crispy fried dark meat chicken thigh topped with sweet and salty hoisin sauce accented by freshly sliced cucumber and leek. As per usual, the new yet familiar combination is held between a toasted potato bun.
Aside from serving as the latest innovation of the gourmet burger chain’s chicken menu, the Dark Meat Peking Chicken sandwich furthers Shake Shack’s commitment to serving fresh, simple, high-quality food at a great value through its mission to Stand for Something Good™.
The Dark Meat Peking Chicken sandwich is available now through February at Shake Shack Hong Kong locations.
