The limited edition watches join Seiko’s Presage Sharp Edged series and take their cues from Zero Halliburton’s range-topping Pursuit Aluminium collection, adopting the same dark blue shade used by the American brand.
The dials combine the Japanese hemp leaf pattern found throughout the Sharp Edged series and the “double ribbed design” used by Zero Halliburton since 1946.
The two 42mm GMT watches – with one in stainless steel and the other given Seiko’s mysterious black “hard coating” – are limited to 2,000 and 600 pieces respectively and feature aluminium GMT bezels, small seconds, power reserve indicators and the Seiko 6R64 automatic movement with 45 hours power reserve.
The 39mm time and date model, which is limited to 2,000 pieces, uses Seiko’s 6R35 automatic with 70 hours power reserve.
Each watch is individually numbered and presented in a polycarbonate Zero Halliburton case.
The watches drop next month via Seiko, priced $1,550 USD for the GMT models and $1,100 USD of the time and date.
