Nike is Bringing Back Scottie Pippen's Air Flight Lite Mid "Olympic"
Celebrating the 30th-anniversary of the shoe.
Continuing the return of the Air Flight Lite Mid, Nike is now set to bring back Scottie Pippen‘s “Olympic” colorway for its 30th-anniversary. Iconically worn by the celebrated Chicago Bulls small forward during the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona, Spain, the shoe expresses Nike’s signature patriotic mix of red, white and blue accented by hits of gold.
The shoe features a perforated white leather base with choice elements of navy found on the midfoot Swooshes, tongue and sockliner. Additional detailing comes in the form of red eyelets and sockliner segments. Aside from the Swooshes, “NIKE AIR” embroidery at the rear and printed insoles serve as branding. Finishing up the design of the shoe are sculpted white midsoles and treaded rubber outsoles with hits of navy and stripes of gold.
Priced at $120 USD, Scottie Pippen’s Nike Air Flight Lite Mid “Olympic” is now expected to release in the coming weeks.
