Off-White™ Delivers a Timely Capsule Collection Celebrating the Lunar New Year
An exclusive drop that maintains the house that Virgil built.
Virgil Abloh’s presence is still missed, but the late designer’s team at Off-White™ continues to carry the torch, announcing the drop of a new capsule collection celebrating the Lunar New Year.
The timely Year of the Tiger capsule includes an exclusive and limited-run of items for both men and women, and has a key focus on furnishings and accessories. The collection features a white T-shirt with the namesake “Off-White™” chest logo and an adjacent happy tiger icon, a pair of black-and-white checkerboard-print boxer shorts and an orange moire effect travel mask.
Accessory highlights include a gold-medal keychain with a classic red OW “zip tie” and happy tiger pendant, and a mixed-media gold bracelet with red paint overlay and an OW “arrow” and tiger pendant. Women’s pieces include a black-and-white mesh lingerie set, a red “Burrow-22” shoulder bag and a black-and-white “Optical Mini Flap” bag.
Rounding out a total of eight collection pieces and maintaining the house that Virgil built, the brand stated in an online message that “the capsule incorporates the Chinese zodiac tiger as the special icon, aiming to welcome the reunion and accompany the journey.”
All items are available now for purchase – with bags available for pre-order – on the brand’s official website.
Additionally, honoring Virgil’s design legacy, Louis Vuitton has released his final men’s collection for pre-fall 2022.
