You can always expect Nike to introduce new lifestyle silhouettes to the market this year, and for its Sportswear division, the brand has lined up a brand new model titled the Waffle Debut. The inline silhouette is designed with a minimalistic look and feel, and it’s been officially unveiled in versatile “Black/White” and “Triple Black” colorways.

Ostensibly a follow-up to the Waffle One that debuted in 2021, this forthcoming offering bears a slightly more simplified appearance. The upper half evokes memories of the classic Waffle Trainer for its nylon base, suede overlays that attach to the toe caps and heels and foam-y tongues. Swooshes arrive with a slightly chunkier look, and come modified they are connected to the heel’s pull tabs. Tongue tabs and insoles are devised with traditional Nike branding, the latter of which also bears a circular shape that hosts the word “Comfort.” Down below, the midsole piece has been adjusted with a wedged look, and this rides atop a full-length waffle outsole.

Peep a closer look at the shoes here above, and note that Nike is expected to drop these in the coming months for a wallet-friendly $80 USD.

In other news, official images of the Air Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT “Purple Patent” have showed up.
