A Retired Russian Superpowered Spy Confronts Her Past in Netflix's 'In From the Cold'

With the next installment of the James Bond franchise still up in the air, Netflix is now here to satisfy your spy thriller craving with its latest series In From the Cold.
No doubt a nod to John le Carré’s famed novel The Spy Who Came In From the Cold, the new series follows the turbulent life of Jenny (Margarita Levieva), a single mother who was once a Russian spy. As you’d imagine, her past identity gets discovered when she’s on vacation with her daughter in Europe, revealing that she’s the sole survivor of a KGB experiment that somehow endowed her with superpowers. As she confronts a series of murders from someone who seemingly has the same abilities as her, Jenny gets dragged back into action.
