Trae Young and adidas are dropping another citrus-inspired edition of the Trae Young 1, following the previous NBA season, as he made his first debut in the Playoffs coinciding with the launch of his signature shoe. The silhouette has already been seen in a number of colorways such as the “Peach tree,” “Ice Trae” and “SO SO DEF.”

With the 2021-22 season underway, the 23-year-old Atlanta Hawks point guard has already been hitting several milestones as he recently shot a career-high of 56 points in a loss against the Portland Trail Blazers. Young looks to bulk up his sneaker deal lineup with five more iterations including the current model dubbed as the “Citrus Fade.”

The latest installment is a bright and vibrant shape up with mesh uppers smoothly transitioning from greenish-yellow to a Grapefruit Red hue with a Neon Lime shade accenting the eyelets and toe box overlays in patent leather. The Grapefruit Red color continues with the sockliner and heel cap while Golden Orange details are found throughout the shoe including the lace cover, tongue pull tabs and textured midsole. Below the midsole is a peach-colored rubber outsole sandwiching a BOOST-cushion peeping out from the heel.

Look out for the latest adidas Trae Young 1 to release at select retailers and via adidas for $130 USD.
