Kanye West Confirms He Has Finished a Verse for Cardi B
Also stating that he “always believed in her” since her ‘Love & Hip-Hop’ days.
It seems like a collaboration between the artist formerly known as Kanye West and Cardi B is well underway.
Speaking in his recent Hollywood Unlocked interview, Ye confirmed that he is done in the studio for the Cardi B cut. “My cousins was saying ‘Come by here’ yesterday but I was finishing, I was finishing that verse for your girl, you know what I mean,” he said, referring to Cardi. “I always believed in her since she was on [Love & Hip-Hop], period.”
Earlier this month, rumors began circulating that the pair had filmed a music video in a Balenciaga store. Ye was spotted in the Miami store with Future, and he and Cardi — both Balenciaga ambassadors — supposedly shut down the branch to film.
