ASICS Adds “Mid Grey/Black” Colorway to Its GEL-1090 Line-up
Set to drop later this week.
ASICS has built on the unveiling of its “Gold/Silver” GEL-1090 earlier this week by sharing images of an accompanying colorway in a more subtle “Mid Grey/Black” combination.
The sneaker brand — which last month linked up with F-LAGSTUF-F to give its GEL-PTG MT a vintage makeover — has again drawn inspiration from the lines of a motorcycle, to present a sneaker designed to emphasise the notion of speed.
Equipped with grooves across the midsole atop transparent gold-tinted GEL cushioning, the sneaker’s panelled upper is decorated in shades of “Mid Grey/Black”, as pops of gold elevate and complete an understated look.
The GEL-1090 “Mid Grey/Black” is set to drop on January 15 and will be available via the ASICS webstore, retailing at £95 (approximately $130 USD).
