F-LAGSTUF-F and ASICS Gives the GEL-PTG MT a Vintage Makeover
Equipped with GORE-TEX.
F-LAGSTUF-F teamed up with fellow Japanese sportswear powerhouse ASICS once again to debut a new rendition based on the 1983 classic basketball shoe FABRE POINT GETTER. Back in the summer, Nobuyuki Murayama’s ’90s music and skate style-inspired label released its Spring/Summer 2021 capsule collection with photographer Gavin Watson, whose snapshots of an evolving British subculture grace a variety of lightweight layering pieces.
The duo’s GEL-PTG MT G-TX edition is shaped up with soft brushed out suede in a sandy khaki hue in line with the brand’s aesthetic along with matching laces and the ASICS logo adorning the tongue tab. For the first time, GORE-TEX is used to equip the pair which is made known with the logo debossed on the lateral heel below the F-LAGSTUF-F branding label slyly hanging around the ankle. A full black outsole matching the label finishes off the vintage look.
The F-LAGSTUF-F x ASICS GEL-PTG MT G-TX is now available at the ASICS Harajuku Flagship, ASICS Osaka Links Umeda and the brand’s official website for ¥23,100 JPY (approximately $1,585 USD).
