Here's Your First Official Look at the White Mountaineering x UNIQLO Collaboration
An every-day outerwear capsule.
Coming off a heavy array of utilitarian inspired looks in its Spring/Summer 2022 collection, White Mountaineering extends its functional design elements to its new outerwear focused UNIQLO collaboration.
The nine-piece outerwear drop is comprehensively made up of jackets and fleeces. Taking UNIQLOs LifeWear blueprint and blending it with White Mountaineering style, each piece is a reflection of both brand identities and core ranges. Designer Yosuke Aizawa comments, “I believe we’ve created a line of new everyday wear that can be worn in any setting.”
UNIQLO and White Mountaineering’s every-day essentials capsule is headed by a padded parka equipped with a hood and large pockets that examples the versatility across the mens, womens and kids ranges. Lightweight quilted jackets, also featured in the drop, prove to be a requirement in wardrobes this season as the weather turns more tumultuous. In terms of layering pieces, women and kids get to enjoy a mock neck jumper, with dark brown piping and small bow detailing that adds dainty characteristics to the line.
