JW Anderson Has Released the FW21 Penis Coin Pouches
Available in black or pink.
It’s safe to say that Jonathan Anderson has made the penis a signature motif for his eponymous label JW Anderson, and now the familiar phallic piece has dropped as part of the designer’s Fall/Winter 2021 collection.
Previously, the penis-shaped design has appeared as a decorative accessory that can be attached to other garments and goods such as bags — or it has been overhauled as part of a Tom of Finland collaboration, for example. Now, the item has been released as a coin purse for the first time.
The padded accessory features a zipper around the top, which is controlled using a branded silver-toned zip pull that allows you to open it up and drop in your coins. Contrast stitching in white — across both the black and pink iterations — adds a nice touch to the purse, while a strap has also been added (also in 100% leather) so that it can be worn around the neck or like a side-bag. Rounding out the accessory is stamped branding on the right-hand side of the pouch.
