RAW EMOTIONS Relaunches Vintage Mascot Tiger Rugs

Hong Kong-based streetwear label RAW EMOTIONS is restocking its original Tibetan Tiger Mascot piece inspired by the rugs shown on Nigo’s Casa BRUTUS 2008 home tour.

Traditionally, the splayed tiger rugs are tied to meditation and used as a sign of power and authority. The rugs have now seen a surge in popularity recently due to their eye-catching and evocative design.

RAW EMOTIONS has released several colorways of the Tiger Mascot rugs over the years, and later this week, the original colorway will make its first return since 2017 in classic nylon and New Zealand wool versions. In tandem with the rug re-release, a series of classic Hong Kong horror film-inspired apparel and headwear will also be available.

The new RAW EMOTIONS Tiger Mascot Vintage rugs and clothing collection are expected to release at 12 a.m. HKT (September 23 at 12 p.m. ET) on the brand’s website. The small, medium and large nylon rugs are priced at $98, $178 and $248 USD respectively.

In the meantime, “White/Blue” and “Grey/Purple” Tiger Mascot rugs are available on the RAW EMOTIONS site and select pieces from the brand are available on HBX.
