Mizuno's Wave Prophecy LS and Wave Mujin TL Receive Suede Makeovers
Winter-ready silhouettes featuring Michelin outsoles.
Two cozy Mizuno Wave GS models are arriving later this week following the reveal of Hajime Sorayama x Mizuno collaborative sneakers last month.
The Mizuno Wave Prophecy LS “Gray Violet/Iron Gate/TradeWinds” is the more contemporary model among the two offerings, featuring light grey mesh uppers with “Gray Violet” suede overlays, bone-colored rubber webbing accents, and TPU heel support. Branding accents are found on the lateral Runbird logo, “Mizuno Wave” heel tag and custom tongue tab. Below, the signature Wave system mid-sole is elevated by a black marbled outsole.
The Wave Mujin TL “Tradewinds/ Ebony/ Gray Violet” sports the same clean and rugged aesthetic, incorporating mesh uppers, dark suede overlays and zig-zag nylon strap detailing. Leather accents are found on the mudguard and tongue tab, and a black suede Mizuno logo runs across the laterals. Below, a waved crevice runs across the cream white midsoles, and a spiked gray Michelin outsole below completes the look.
Look for the Mizuno Wave Prophecy LS and Mujin TL to arrive at the A Few online store and other select retailers on September 25 for €250 and €179.95 EUR (approximately $293 and $211 USD) respectively.
