Uppers feature a dual-layered construction, with a “Cinnabar”-colored mesh and ripstop base overlaid by a “Thunder Blue” suede sheath. This rich blue overlay features diamond-shaped perforations to play up the shoe’s build, and is also adorned with an embroidered Swoosh on the lateral quarter while the medial side is left unbranded.
Tongues are knit directly into the collar for a glove-like fit, and are embellished with a cross-shaped Free Run badge. Insoles feature a two-tone topographical map, and tan laces tie the top half together. Down below, toothy tan midsoles feature a trail-ready traction pattern, reinforced rubber in high-wear areas and deep flex grooves that allow the wearer’s foot to move naturally.
The Nike Free Run Trail “Thunder Blue” will release on Nike SNKRS come September 21, and is priced at $110 USD.
