Tekla's "Conifer" Sleepwear and Bedding Collection Is Bang on Trend
Bring the rich, saturated colors of the great outdoors into your bedroom.
The Copenhagen-based label Tekla is pioneering bedtime, and for its latest collection, it’s gone green — literally. Titled “Conifer” (like the plants that have cones), Tekla’s new color draws inspiration from the outdoors and brings it to your bedroom in a vibrant shade that’s bang on trend in the fashion world, too.
This might be one reason why we find the new collection so appealing, but really it’s all down to Tekla’s approach to beautifully producing often overlooked items such as sleepwear and bedding. These two categories make up the “Conifer” collection, which sees everything made from 100-percent, soft-yet-crisp organic cotton making up a range of unisex sleepwear and percale bedding.
The sleepwear is simplistic and is limited to a shirt, pants, a short-sleeve shirt, and shorts, while bedding takes a more elevated route. Long cotton fibers are specifically chosen to create a resistant and durable duvet, and is completely free from harmful chemicals as the focus is on its organic cotton qualities. Additionally, a light stonewash has been applied for a soft and crisp hand feel with a matte finish, while all of the cotton used is sourced from a supplier that’s Better Cotton Initiative-certified.
