HUF Pays Tribute to Jazz Icon Miles Davis With Latest Capsule
Inspired by the musician’s illustrious five-decade career.
HUF has built on the recent release of its Pabst Blue Ribbon collection by unveiling its latest collaborative release that pays homage to legendary jazz icon Miles Davis.
Regarded as one of 20th century music’s most influential figures, Davis won eight Grammy Awards and received thirty-two nominations across his five-decade career, while his 1959 Kind of Blue album still remains one of the most popular jazz albums of all time — selling over five million copies.
Now, celebrating Davis and his illustrious career, HUF draws inspiration from the “Electric Miles” era of the ‘70s and ‘80s, album covers, performance portraits, as well as Davis’ supreme sense of style, to create a unique range of apparel and accessories.
From sweatshirts and varsity jackets, to shirts and fleeces, various garments adorn the title of his 1970 record Bitches Brew, as well as pieces taking inspiration from other works like Pangaea, as well as his New York City roots.
A corduroy bucket hat, mesh trucker, socks, a bandana and two skate decks round out the collection, all of which is available to buy from September 30, 9am PST, via the HUF webstore.
