The North Face Unveils Its New Mountain-Inspired Collection for the City
Including moisture-wicking, water-resistance and stretch performance properties.
Known for its commitment to outdoor apparel, The North Face introduces its new collection. Titled Tekware, the collection consists of mountain-inspired clothes designed for the city.
What characterizes Tekware is the number of performance properties which include moisture-wicking, water-resistance and stretch durability. The offering includes a number of options including sportswear-inspired hoodies, tops, pants, jackets and accessories.
To introduce the new collection, The NorthFace teamed up with Anwar Isaacs and Gia Seo for a shoot across New York City from the Williamsburg Bridge to the Lower East Side. In the shoot, Isaacs is seen in an ocean blue Tekware set which also includes a hooded jacket and technical sweatpants. Seo wears a grayscale Tekware set that includes a hooded jacket and technical sweatpants.
Recently, The North Face announced its partnership with textile company Spinnova in order to produce high-performance sustainable textiles. Specifically, the collaborative textiles will focus on The North Face’s range of outdoor apparel. To combat this problem, the new partnership between the two entities strives to reduce the impact of the textile/garment industry on the environment.
Priced from $30 USD to $109 USD, the Tekware collection is available now on The North Face’s website.
