The pair — who are collaborating for the first time — have described the collection as “eyewear for enjoying scenery” with an aim of making “sunglasses more popular in the Japanese outdoor scene”.
By pursuing the optimum functions and design for the outdoors with the knowledge of both parties, the collection comprises four unique styles including the Switch, Rubber Sunglasses and Folding Sunglasses, as well as a trio of kid’s options.
Arriving in a palette of earth-inspired hues, each style features the Snow Peak logo on the temple, while each product arrives in an original case made from tent fabric and rope, with a cellite eyelet-processed so that it can be attached to the sacoche and used.
Available now exclusively in Japan, the full Snow Peak x JINS collaboration can be purchased from the latter’s online webstore.
