New Balance‘s Flimby, UK factory has been cranking out everything from a UNITED ARROWS-exclusive 991 to a black sand beach-inspired 1500s and a neutral-toned 577 in the past months, but one of its latest products is a muted take on the 670. Boasting a color palette reminiscent of a rainy London day and a premium construction, this 670 is another appealing lifestyle option from NB’s British base of operations.

Three shades of gray are used on the upper: a steel gray that’s present on the mesh toebox and collar, a light gray that’s used on the suede mudguard and heel and a wolf gray that graces the midfoot’s suede overlay. Navy is introduced into the mix via the midfoot’s N logo, the heel tab and the tongue’s embroidered hits. More branded embroidery can be seen on the aforementioned heel tab, and down below a dark gray plastic heel counter helps lock the wearer’s foot in place. Trim white EVA foam midsoles supply a shape similar to the New Balance 990v1, and the look is finalized with black Vibram rubber outsoles.

This made in the UK New Balance 670 is set to release at retailers like 43einhalb on August 14. Its MSRP is set at $180 USD.
