Gunna boasts about his successes in the video for his new single “9 Times Outta 10.” Produced by the rapper’s go-to DJ Taurus, the visual contrasts Gunna at his highest and lowest points, juxtaposing coming home to a house and family in the suburbs with riding in the backseat of a car wearing a ski mask.

“Know they thought I would fall, but I’m standin’ tall and look at me still here,” he raps. The track is a celebration of Gunna’s unbridled confidence and endurance, even through experiencing tough times.

It’s also the first song to premiere off of Drip Season 4, the fourth installment in the rapper’s series, which began back in 2013.

“Well I’m for sure putting out Drip Season 4,” Gunna told HYPEBEAST in an exclusive interview last year. ”The drip must go on but those projects are just something else to do. I have more talents that I want to tap into and a lot planned but it’s just timing.”

“I’m planning to put a Drip Harder 2 out with [Lil] Baby so the drip gotta go on, but it’s about being smart with how we’re gonna put it out,” he shared. The duo released their first collaborative mixtape in 2018 with guest appearances from Drake and Young Thug.

Last month, the rapper took to Instagram to share a snippet of a song titled “Why Me?” and a hashtag indicating it was from the forthcoming album.
