'Fortnite' Reveals J Balvin Icon Series Skin
Available this August.
Epic Games have Fortnite revealed their latest addition to the icon series: reggaeton artist and five-time Latin GRAMMY winner, J Balvin. The additions will include a new J Balvin outfit, emote, glider and back bling that unsheathes as a pickaxe.
Starting on August 24, players were able to unlock the new outfit and back bling early with the J Balvin Cup. The entirety of the J Balvin Set will release later this week. The J Balvin set includes the J Balvin Outfit with Energia Balvin Style as well as Fortnitemares Skeleton Balvin Style along with the Balvin Cruiser Glider and the In Da Party Emote.
J Balvin said in a press release, “It feels incredible to be part of the Fortnite Icon Series. Being in a video game… that’s the kind of thing kids dream about. It’s amazing. I love Fortnite and I had so much fun performing my Fortnitemares show last year. I hope my fans enjoy the J Balvin drip and moves as much as I did create them with the Fortnite team.”
The global reggaetón global ambassador’s set will drop on the Fortnite Item Shop on August 26 at 8 p.m. EST.
