BornxRaised Teams Up With Rhymezlikedimez for a Capsule Collection
Featuring illustrated and animated graphic designs.
BornxRaised has united with illustrative designer and animator Rhymezlikedimez for a co-branded capsule collection. The offering includes t-shirts, hoodies long sleeve shirts, button-down shirts and jewelry.
Robin Velghe a.k.a. Rhymezlikedimez is based in Belgium, yet his creations have been seen all around the world blending the worlds of animation and music. Most notably, Velghe has worked with artists Playboi Carti, Lil Uzi Vert, Anderson .Paak, Bruno Mars and Dua Lipa. Also, he’s worked with big brands as well including Apple, Nike, Tidal and Beats By Dre. Velghe has now lent his expertise to BornxRaised for an animated new collection.
The assortment of t-shirts and hoodies feature Velghe’s animated artwork with wizard and animal-inspired characters. The capsule’s most vibrant piece is a short-sleeve button-down with an all-over graphic print of animated characters, palm trees and more.
“When I first stumbled upon Rhymezlikedimez’s artwork on the explore page, (it was a piece done for Stones Throw Records) I thought, ‘Wow this artist must really be from LA the way he captures the essence and all the subtle nuances – it’s so good,’” said Spanto, founder of BornxRaised. “He understood all the things about LA that I deeply appreciate, and that I think most people miss.”
Styles are priced from $38-250 USD. The collection drops on August 26 on BornxRaised’s website at 12 pm PST (3 pm EST).
